*Illinois residents—be aware of your state restrictions! In areas where two-pole limits do not apply, five-hook umbrella rigs are legal and can be used. Lake Michigan, most rivers, and Army Corps of Engineer lakes without restrictions are some examples where a 5-hook RIP rig can be used.
